Licensed Massage Therapist, Neuro Massage Therapist, Nationally Certified Hypnotist

Many people over the years ask me why I became a massage therapist. I wish I had a magical story to this question but quite the opposite. I was living in Miami at the time and worked long hours in a cubicle for a life insurance company and needless to say I didn’t enjoy that at all! I started to get migraines and stomach issues every time I would go in to start my day and would have to go back home. I ended up taking a medical leave of absence to deal with what was happening. I didn’t put the correlation between doing something you didn’t enjoy and meeting my life’s purpose, yet that is. So fast forward, my good friend from Miami moved to Town Lake in Woodstock, GA and ask if I could visit, which of course I did. Moving right along, I decided I would leave Miami and stay with her until I found my apartment and a job. This is the backstory in a nutshell that started my massage career. Before I moved I met a young lady that was a massage therapist and I remember I would always ask her what she did and if she liked that profession and everything else I could think of. At that time, I didn’t even know what massage was but I never forgot what she did and how much she enjoyed it. So, when I moved to Georgia, I said to myself, “I’m in a new state starting over so I’m going to start a new career and why not massage therapy! That’s about as exciting as it gets. But, taking action on one thought has brought me to an incredible 25 years of the most amazing field I could have ever imagined!

I graduated in 1998 from Horizon Spirits as a Massage Therapist and started working for a clinic right away for a few years before opening my practice. I went on to get my colon therapy certification in 2002 at the Wood Hygienic Institute in Kissimmee, Fl which is one of my favorite therapies above them all. I believe all diseases start in the colon but that’s another topic we can talk about later. From there I became a Reiki Master, Nationally Certified Hypnotist, and I am also certified in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Post Op Lymphatic Massage.

The love for my profession is beyond what I can express. If you know me well you will periodically hear me say “I never have a job and I don’t go to work.” My space is peaceful, tranquil and rewarding. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing human beings. Most are still with me and some have moved away through the years. Every client has taught me something and I’m so grateful that our paths crossed.

When I’m not at my office you can find me cycling either at Columns Drive or the Silver Comet Trail with my side kick husband Greg who shared with me the passion and ultimately the love of cycling many years ago.
